http://www.college301.orgDear Friends,

It is a privilege, pleasure and honor to be given the blessing and the opportunity to serve Sts. Sahag and Mesrob Armenian Church as the interim Pastor during Hayr Simeon’s sabbatical in Armenia. I look forward to getting acquainted with the members of this venerable and historic Armenian Church community. I look forward to working hand in hand with you to maintain the vibrant community life that has been established here in Rhode Island as we come together to worship and serve our Lord.

Sts . Sahag and Mesrob Armenian Church is a complex community in many respects, however its mission remains simple. As our diocesan leadership has stated:

“The Mission of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church is to preach the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ and to proclaim its message of salvation. This mission is realized through worship, education, witness, service and a common life in Jesus Christ as expressed in the distinctive faith experience of the Armenian people. All members of the Armenian Church — both clergy and lay — are called to participate fully in its mission.”

As we work together to advance the mission of the Armenian Church, I look to all the members of the larger community for guidance and support. I welcome your comments about the life of Sts. Sahag and Mesrob Armenian Church and I look forward to continuing to work with you to build up the Church and to glorify Our Lord.

With blessings,
Rev. Fr. Sahak M. Kaishian
Interim Pastor
